Flowers will be left on the site or outside the mausoleum on the lawn on the day of the service, and an additional two (2) days before being removed. Green Hills has a population of squirrels and other wildlife which may eat flowers. If you are planning to retrieve any floral arrangements after a funeral, we suggest you do so at the conclusion of the service.
Artificial flowers are permitted in the Mausoleums only.
Artificial flowers left on interment sites will be removed.
FLOWERS AND DECORATIONS will be removed each Thursday and Friday, except for special seasons as described below:

Patriot Day - September 11th
Tall American flags will be flown throughout the park beginning Saturday, September 8th.
Halloween - October 31st
Halloween decorations are permitted at all grave sites beginning Saturday, October 27th.
All decorations will be removed Thursday, November 8th.
Veterans Day - November 9th
Tall American flags will be flown throughout the park on Friday, November 9th.
Thanksgiving - November 22nd
Thanksgiving decorations are permitted beginning Saturday, November 17th.
All decorations will be removed on Thursday, November 29th.
Christmas - December 25th
Holiday decorations are permitted at grave sites beginning Saturday, December 15th.
All decorations will be removed on Thursday, January 10th, 2008.
You are encouraged to remove holiday decor before that date. We do not save decorations. Potted poinsettia plants are permitted. A SMALL Christmas tree, either live or artificial, with decorations is permitted. Other SMALL decorations placed by the marker are permitted. A SMALL fence which immediately surrounds a loved one's grave is permitted. Please note that the permission to use a small fence is extended to the holiday season ONLY, during the dates listed above. Other items used to outline graves or markers, such as rocks, artificial snow, etc., are NOT permitted.
