We are committed to ensuring that your online transactions with us are
safe. Our online store uses the latest industry standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL)
technology to encrypt any data sent between your web browser and our server. Using an SSL
enabled browser, such as Netscape Navigator 2.0 or higher, or Microsoft Internet Explorer
2.1 or higher, will ensure this safety.
Most web browsers have a "security preferences" area where you can enable security
notification and other options. With these options set (they are by default) you will be
notified that you are about to enter a secure area when you enter the store
(the secure area "begins" at our purchase form).
Furthermore, you can identify a secure transmission area by two other indications from
you web browser. First, the URL of a secure page will begin with https:// rather than
http://. Second, a security icon will appear in your web browser:
- Netscape Navigator displays an "unbroken key" in the lower left of the window.
- Microsoft Internet Explorer displays a "closed lock" in the bottom right corner of
the window.
