  reen Hills Memorial Park takes great pride in providing special events designed for our local community. Civic and cultural observances are held on a regular basis, and the Green Hills Memorial Park is pleased to open its gates to the community for these occasions.
 EASTER SUNRISE SERVICE
Green Hills Memorial Park's 60th Annual celebration. Easter Sunday, March 23, 2008 at 6:00 a.m. (Gates open at 5:00 a.m.) This outdoor multi-denominational service is celebrated in conjunction with the South Coast Interfaith Council and the San Pedro Pastors Fellowship.
MEMORIAL DAY OBSERVANCE
The largest Memorial Day Service in California. Memorial Day Monday, May 26, 2008 at 10:00 a.m.

Celebrating holiday traditions with the local community. Annually.
BEREAVEMENT SESSIONS
For those who have recently lost a loved one. A free grief support group is held Thursday 5:00pm – 6:30pm First Thursday of the Month Beginning July 5, 2007 For additional information, click here.
HOW TO SURVIVE THE HOLIDAYS
For families who have lost a loved one. Each November we invite a grief counselor to give a talk in the chapel that is free to the community.
